Universal 5-cam Mailbox Lock fits many 4B pedestal-style boxes This auction is for one brand-new, multi-cam mailbox lock for home or apartment mailboxes. This nickel-plated, die-cast mailbox lock has a removable The lock is designed so that your key can be removed only when in the locked position. The key and the cam turn clockwise to open. This lock is installed with a spring mounting clip & Nut. This lock fits the "old" style double-D lock cutout (see picture). The package includes the lock, a selection of 5 plated steel cams with washer and nut, spring mounting clip, and 2 keys. Before installation, select the cam that matches the lock being replaced and attach to the back of the lock with included lock washer and hex nut. Worked perfectly

This lock was a perfect replacement for my old mailbox lock which had an aluminum lever that was bent after it was pried open twice. This replacement lock had multiple steel levers and was able to be turned in 90 degree increments to suit my mailbox which is crucial because the key is only removable in the unlocked position.
