Our security door on our home is old and the doorknob had broken off. We couldn't find a replacement anywhere, but then our son-in-law stumbled across Countryside Locks. Not only did it arrive quickly, but it fit perfectly and was so much less than purchasing a new door, which was our other alternative. Great company!

Great product, exactly what I needed / ordered. Had to review intructions on Youtube, thankfully I found the exact mortise lock installation video that I could refer to in exchanging the handles.

We know these Locking Bars were designed for File Cabinets but we've used these for Stanley Vidmar workbench drawers and Rollaway Toolbox drawers as well as File Cabinets. Very simple design and very secure mechanism. These are pretty hard to beat.

I requested a call back and submitted an email question with no response.

The lLarson lock was delivered quickly. Upon receipt i found that the spring which returns the latch bolt outward was stuck between the latch bolt shaft and the guide hole for the latch bolt shaft. This would not allow the latch bolt outward to engage the strike plate. I had to use pliers and a pick to forcefully remove the end of the spring from it's stuck position in the latch bolt shaft guide hole to get the lock to function properly.

Great quality and ease of installation.

We had our original lock spontaneously stop working and I was so excited to find this replacement, which wasn't easy to do. However, today when we tried to unlock the door, it broke so badly we had to drill out the lock to open the door (the locking mechanism wouldn't turn, leaving us with no way to let our dogs into the back yard). It's only been a year and a half since we ordered, so I was hoping it would have lasted a bit longer.
