Heavy duty mortise lock-set made for a wood hinged Atrium patio door. Fits doors from 1-3/8" to 1-7/8" thick. Forged solid brass with polished brass finish; lock chassis is high pressure cast; latch face, mortise cylinder, escutcheons, and levers are all of solid brass.

Levers: 4 -1/2 Inch Solid Brass Mortise Lock
Backset: 1-3/4 inch (45mm) narrow stile
Door thickness: 1-3/4 inch
Lock faceplate measures: 15/16 by 9-5/8 inches.
Handle Escutcheon Plate: 1-3/16 x 8-1/4 Flat, 3 screw holes, solid brass
Cylinder Type: Single cylinder lock, Crescent thumb turn inside.
Atrium Keyed Cylinder: rekeyable Schlage SC-1 keyway with 2 keys
Spindle for handle: 5/16 (8mm) x 3-1/4 inch (83mm) on the Square.
Distance from the center of handles to center of Cylinder 3-5/8 inches (92mm)
Handing: This handle set can be used in Left and Right hand applications.

A close reproduction but not perfect

Either the casting for the handle and cover plate are not to the correct size or need some machining after the casting. The nylon bushing was very tough to fit and I had to file a bunch to get it working. Also for some reason the key is very hard to withdraw the deadbolt. Please just make it a bit better.

Poor response re: Lock mechanism binds...

I've sent two emails already and got no response in regards to an Atrium Door lock replacement. If I tighten the screw that holds the cylinder in place, the lock binds, and doesn't allow keyed entry from the exterior. The low score was mostly for lack of response. That may change for the better if they will communicate with me.

The lock works but the quality is not great.

The lock is catchy and rough in action.
It sticks and we have to work to get it to lock and for the latch to come out so it can work.
We need the lock and it’s the only one available but I wish they would up the quality.
